Police are appealing to trace the driver of a car who approached a young woman in a Cairngorms town this morning.
The woman was walking on Grant Road, in Grantown, at around 9.20am when a car, thought to be a black Peugeot 206, pulled up alongside her.
The male driver did not leave the vehicle, however he spoke to the woman. After a short conversation, he drove away.
The woman was not injured.
No description of the man has been released, however the woman has told police that she thought the man spoke with an Eastern European accent.
Police are appealing to the driver to come forward, or anyone who may have been in the area at the time. Anyone with information should contact officers on 101.
