Argyll and Bute Council will hold a by-election next month for a seat in its South Kintyre ward.
The four candidates standing for election are John Armour for the SNP, Charlotte Hanbury for Scottish Conservative, Michael Kelly for Scottish Labour and Joyce Oxborrow for Scottish Liberal Democrats.
Polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, December 11, with counting starting at 10.30pm in Campbeltown’s Burnett Building.
Results will be published on Argyll and Bute Council’s website.
The South Kintyre ward covers the area from Saddell Glen down to the Mull of Kintyre, including Campbeltown. It has an electorate of around 5,400 people.
