Hundreds of young musicians from across the Highlands are rehearsing for a special concert later this month.
More than 300 young musicians from eight diverse groups under the umbrella of Highland Young Musicians, will perform their Concerts Festival at the Osprey Arena at MacDonald Aviemore Resort on Saturday, November 22.
The festival will open with the Highland Regional Youth Orchestra, conducted by Jen-Claude Picard at 2.30pm. This will be followed by the Highland Youth Pipe Band and Youth Big Band.
The Gaelic choir will be on stage at 4.30pm before the string orchestra and traditional music group, Snas. This will be followed by the Highland Youth Choir, before the festival ends with the Highland Schools Wind Band at 7.40pm.
Tickets for the festival cost £10 for adults and are free for children. They allow people to come and go as they please throughout the day.
All entry is by cash only on the day.
