Some north ferries have been cancelled for today due to high winds and many are currently under threat of disruption.
The Caledonian MacBrayne Tarbert to Lochranza service has been cancelled as a result of south easterly winds gusting at 55mph.
The Ullapool to Stornoway service has also been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the ferry operator is warning that many other services are likely to be cancelled or delayed due to the weather.
These are the services between Tobermory and Kilchoan, Barra and Eriskay, Oban and Castlebay and Lochboisdale, Wemyss Bay and Rothesay, Oban and Coll and Tiree, Tarbert and Portavadie and Tayinloan and Gigha.
There are also amber alerts for the following services – Uig to Tarbert, Fionnphort to Iona, Kennacraig to Islay, Oban to Craignure, Lochaline to Fishnish, Uig to Lochmaddy, Berneray to Leverburgh, Sconser to Raasay, Mallaig to Armadale and Mallaig to the Small Isles.
