Police are appealing for information after a man was reported to have been behaving suspiciously near a Caithness school.
A police spokesman said they were making inquiries into the incident, which is alleged to have happened in the area of Miller Academy, Thurso, at about 1.20pm on Friday November 7.
He said: “There are no reports at this time of the man approaching any pupils of the school or in the nearby vicinity.
“We would like to speak to the man and would also appeal to anyone who may have any information, which can help identify him, to contact the police.”
The man, who was aged about 20, is described as tall and of “skinny” build. He had black or brown hair, with stubble on his face, and walked with a slight stagger.
He was wearing a red hooded top under a black hooded top, with both hoods up, possibly under a black jacket. He was also wearing jeans, possibly blue in colour, with trainers.
Anyone with any information that may help police with their inquiries is asked to call them on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
