More than 300 Lochaber children were given the opportunity to learn about life under the sea and our impact on it at marine education days held in their schools.
Pupils from Caol, Fort William and Upper Achintore primary schools took part in a wide range of workshops and activities organised by a team of experts, including musician and storyteller Bob Pegg and representatives of RSPB Scotland.
Highland Council Countryside Rangers, the Marine Conservation Society and the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust were also involved in the events.
RSPB Scotland’s west Highland and islands education officer, Judith Bullivant, said: “These days offered a fantastic opportunity for local pupils to benefit from the knowledge and skills of our ‘Marine Magic Team’ in a fun and educational way. We were delighted with the response from staff and pupils.”
