Traffic delays after early morning A9 crashes

Emergency services have been kept busy this morning dealing with two crashes on the north’s most notorious trunk road.

An accident involving one vehicle happened at about 9am on the A9 Inverness-Perth road at Findhorn Bridge just south of Tomatin.

An ambulance service spokesman said that no-one was hurt.

It is understood that the car is awaiting recovery in a lay-by and that the road is clear.

Another collision involving a car and a van happened further north on the A9 at the Tomich junction near to Invergordon at about 8.45am.

One man was taken to the minor injury unit in Invergordon as a precaution. The road is not blocked.
