Queen’s Birthday Honours: The 17 people from Highlands and Moray on the list

Some are household names, others have been quietly working in their communities to make a difference.

Below are the 17 people from the north of Scotland included on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for 2022.

For many, it was a complete surprise – made all the more special with it being the Platinum Jubilee.
