The Floreat raised the alarm at about 7.20am after its nets became caught underwater. A spokeswoman for Shetland Coastguard said a helicopter, the Lerwick lifeboat and a nearby fishing vessel, the Mermaid Endurer, went to its aid. She said the crew of the Floreat managed to free their nets and the boat arrived back in Lerwick at about 1.20pm.
