A9 closure: One lane shut after landslide near Kincraig

One lane of the A9 Inverness-Perth road has shut because of a landslide.

Bear Scotland has closed one land of the northbound overtaking lane near Kincraig as a precaution after part of the embankment was washed away.

There has been torrential rain in the area over recent days.

The B9152 Kingussie-Kincraig road, which runs parallel to the A9, is also closed after it was affected.

The traffic restrictions are effective as of this evening and will remain in place until works on the embankment are complete.
