The dog walker was out in the village of Cawdor, around 12 miles from Inverness, when he fell down a grassy slope and injured his knee. Emergency services were alerted at around 12.40pm. Inverness and Nairn Coastguard rescue teams assisted police and the fire service in the search. The man sustained minor injuries but did not have to be taken to hospital.
