A young boy has been airlifted to hospital with a potential back injury after he fell onto a harboured vessel at Scrabster Harbour.
Fire crews from Thurso, Shetland coastguard, paramedics and police officers were sent to the scene around noon to rescue the youngster from the docked boat.
He was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The young male was recovered from the vessel safely with minor injuries and taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, regarding a possible back injury by Heli-med, as a precautionary measure.”
