Police are appealing for information about the theft of a van from a Lochaber village at the weekend.
A police spokesman said a white Peugeot van was stolen from outside the village stores in Lochaline in the early hours of Saturday.
And they are keen to identify two men, described as being “of unkempt appearance”, who were seen in the area the previous day.
Police also issued an appeal for information about the theft of a quantity of coal from the rear garden of a property in Lovat Terrace, Mallaig, between January 8 and January 10 and the theft of alcoholic drink from a shed at the rear of Ross Place, Fort William, overnight on Sunday January 11.
