Two men have been reported for drug offences after the discovery of a cannabis cultivation in Ross-shire.
Officers found a number of plants within a property in the area, along with a significant sum of money and other equipment.
The two men, aged 42 and 36, will now be reported to the procurator fiscal.
Dingwall-based Inspector Bruce Gray said: “Disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in the north remains a top priority for Police Scotland.
“Cannabis, in addition to all other illegal drugs and new pyschoactive substances, has the potential to ruin lives and entire communities – often targeting the most vulnerable members of society.”
Mr Gray said that police will continue to take “proactive and robust action” against those possessing and supplying drugs in communities across the Highlands and islands.
Anyone with information about suspicious behaviour in the area should contact police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
