Harley-Davidson enthusiasts have descended on the Highlands to celebrate the return of the Thunder in the Glens rally.
Riders gathered in Aviemore on Saturday for one of Europe’s largest annual gatherings.
More than 3,000 bikers turned out to celebrate the return of the signature event.
This year marks the events 24th anniversary.
It follows a two-year break in proceedings due to the pandemic.
Pictures taken during the event show large crowds gathered in the heart of Aviemore.
Spectators lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the procession on Saturday as they set off on the main ride out from Aviemore to Grantown.
Bikers basked in the stunning scenery and warm weather as they rode around the Badenoch and Strathspey area.
Meanwhile in Aviemore, festivities were in full swing as scores of supporters packed the streets enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
Thunder in the Glens brings Aviemore to life
The main route was showered in bunting, Harley-Davidson jackets and memorabilia as attendees relished in the events return.
Press and Journal reporter Kieran Beattie, has been attending the annual spectacle for the last eight years.
He said his highlight of the weekend so far was watching Torridon play live at The Winking Owl.

He said: “The ride out went great. The town was absolutely packed.
“The revelry continued all throughout Aviemore on Saturday night. Loads of people were out having fun, packing out the main streets. It has been great.”
Local vendors have been embracing the festivities, hosting a stream of live musical acts and entertainment.
Flat bed lorries were parked outside both the Cairngorms Hotel and The Winking Owl to act as a stage for local artists.
Scottish folk rock band Torridon was among the line-up.
Meanwhile, the main events, being held as part of Thunder in the Glens, was based at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.
When the event first started, the gathering involved around 200 riders.
Thunder in the Glens has now grown in popularity over the years, attracting more than 10,000 visitors to the Aviemore and Speyside area each year.
In 2018, organisers hailed the event a great success as the community came together to support their efforts.
