This video shows a Western Isles lifeboat coming to the aid of a stricken vessel in the Highlands this morning.
The Tobermorey lifeboat was called to the aid of nine people aboard cargo vessel, Lysblink Seaways, when it came into trouble at Ardnamurchan Point at around 2am.
The Tobermorey lifeboat was called to assist, while a tug boat is making its way to the incident from Shetland.
A Stornoway Coastguard spokeswoman said: “It is a cargo vessel gone aground at Ardnamurchan Point. It is a cargo vessel carrying paper, nine people are on-board.
“There’s a tug coming down from Shetland. There doesn’t seem to be any pollution. It is just a waiting game to see if they re-float.”
