A climber was airlifted to hospital after falling more in the Cairngorms.
The man was recovered by members of theCairngorm Mountain Rescue Team and RAF Lossiemouth Sea King Rescue 137.
He was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness having suffered injuries to his wrist and leg.
He was said to be conscious and breathing by a police spokeswoman.
The climber had been in the Coire an Lochan with two others when the incident happened just after 1pm.
They had been climbing on the Great Slab before the fall.
Cairngorm MRT leader Willie Anderson said that some of his team members had happened to be in the area and had been able to reach the casualty relatively quickly.
They helped winch the climber down a steep slope in order for Rescue 137 to collect him.
A second member of the party was also taken to hospital by the helicopter, suffering from minor injuries.
