Gairloch High School is closed today due to a burst water pipe.
More than 100 pupils have been told to stay at home today, October 31.
Posting to social media, the school apologised for any convenience caused to the 107 pupils that attend Gairloch High School.
It is not yet known what the damage to the building is but school officials are aiming to reopen the school tomorrow.
On the school’s Facebook page, it read: “Due to a burst pipe we have to close the school today.
“We hope to have this issue resolved by the end of the school day and will keep you posted on progress. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
Parents can phone the school closures helpline via Highland Council on 0800 564 2272 and use Gairloch High School pin 041050.
