A young boy has been left with minor injuries following an assault on an Inverness to Elgin bus.
The 12-year old was travelling on the Stagecoach number 11 bus when at around 3.40pm on yesterday he was physically and verbally assaulted by a man aged between 20 and 30 years old.
The boy’s attacked has been described as white, 5ft 6in tall, a slim build and a pointed nose.
He was wearing a beanie hat, a green hooded top, and camouflage trousers at the time of the incident which took place as the bus approached Auldearn.
The attacker is also said to have been carrying a black bag.
