Two people are being treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out this afternoon at a home in Strathspey.
Two appliances from Grantown were called to the blaze at a property in Skye-of-Curr Road in Dulnain Bridge at about 1.10pm.
Firefighters are continuing to tackle the flames.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We are at the scene just now dealing with two people with smoke inhalation. It is not clear if they will be taken to hospital.”
Firefighters are currently tackling a kitchen fire in Nairn.
Three appliances – one each from Nairn, Inverness and Forres – were called to the property on Albert Street in Nairn at about 12.30pm this afternoon.
A fire service spokeswoman said that the blaze was “well established.”
