Severe flooding has made a Ross-shire road almost impassable, leaving many rural villages cut off.
The B8056 road from Kerrysdale to Red Point, near Gairloch, is currently submerged under water as the River Kerry has burst its banks.
Pictures show lorries and 4×4 vehicles are still able to navigate the waterlogged route, located to the south of Gairloch.
However, the road at Kerrysdale Bridge is considered impassable for cars.

Pictures taken of the rural area show the road completely submerged under flood water and the surrounding fields waterlogged.
