A missing 88-year-old Highland man has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
John Sutherland, from Wick, was reported missing after he was last seen in the Lyth area at around 11am on Friday.
Police launched an appeal for information as part of their efforts to trace the pensioner, asking anyone who might have spotted him to get in touch.
They have now confirmed Mr Sutherland has been traced.
In a post on social media, officers said: “Police can confirm that John Sutherland has been traced safe and well. The public are thanked for their assistance in this matter.”
