A police investigation has been launched after a fire at a derelict building in Glencoe.
The size of the blaze forced the A82 Glasgow to Fort William road to close for about an hour.
A fire service spokeswoman confirmed two appliances were called to the derelict building in Glencoe at 8.55pm last night to put out the blaze, leaving the scene at 10:05pm.
Meanwhile, police who also arrived at the scene are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
A police spokesman said: “Around 9pm on Saturday, November 12, police received a report of a fire within a derelict building in the Glencoe area.
“Emergency services attended, and the fire was safely extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“The A82 was closed between Bridge of Orchy and Ballachulish for around one hour. Inquiries into the full circumstances of the fire are ongoing.”
