A man has been charged with traffic offences in connection with video footage of a near miss at a notorious junction on the A9 Inverness-Thurso road.
The film showed a lorry pulling out of the Tomich junction near Invergordon, apparently forcing a motorist to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
Police have confirmed that a 43-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal for road traffic offences.
A spokesman said police would like to remind road users to be vigilant when driving, especially when approaching or negotiating busy junctions.
