It’s that time of the week again for a round-up of planning news across the Highlands.
Officials have approved plans for an extension to the Dingwall Lidl store.
Meanwhile, new signage has been installed at a newly opened zero waste store and coffee shop in Nairn.
Permission is being sought for a change of use to a Ross-shire based business’ office.
Submitted: Office could become home
Plans have been submitted to transform a Dingwall office into a house.
The proposed change of use is for Gael Holiday Homes’ office at Stafford House, High Street.
The building could be turned into a two-bedroom home with a living room, kitchen and toilet.
The family-owned business runs a selection of quality self-catering holiday cottages, log cabins, lodges, apartments and holiday accommodation from Fife to the Highlands.
Now the office building may have a new use.

Approved: Extension to Lidl store
Supermarket Lidl will extend their Dingwall store.
This will include a new bakery, freezer and customer toilets in the shop.
A trolley shelter will be installed near the store.
Meanwhile, alterations will be made to reduce car parking spaces from 98 to 80.
The supermarket will also have a deposit return scheme for single-use drinks containers.
Approved: Signage for new Nairn zero waste store
Planners have approved three signs for a new zero waste store and ethical coffee shop in Nairn.
In August, we first revealed The Highland Weigh was coming to town.
Now, they have officially opened up at 3B High Street which used to be a clothes shop.
It is aiming to promote sustainability, whilst also being a social enterprise.
Amanda MacArthur took over the premises in September and has been working around the clock to transform it.
Its opening hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sundays.
As well as the zero-waste store, there is a vegetarian coffee shop.
