A missing Caithness man has been traced safe and well, police have confirmed.
Leslie Robertson was reported missing yesterday after his family and friends had not heard from him for nearly a week.
The 57-year-old was last seen leaving the Barrack area last Sunday to travel to Inverness, where he stayed at the Palace Hotel for about three days.
Police launched an appeal for information to locate Mr Robertson as his family was growing increasingly “upset and worried”.
They have now confirmed he has been found.
In a post on Facebook, officer said: “We are pleased to report that Leslie Robertson, missing from Caithness, has been traced safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our information.”
