A flat-bed lorry shed its load and partially blocked a major Highland road today.
The incident on the A82 Glasgow to Fort William road happened at around 7.30am.
The southbound lane was blocked just north of Ballachulish Bridge for more than two-and-a-half hours.
The lorry’s load shed over the carriageway, which appears to be some type of machinery.
Traffic Scotland posted to social media that the road had been blocked due to a “shed load and oil on the carriageway”.
The fire service confirmed that were not called to assist.
A police spokesman said: “Around 8.05am on Wednesday, 23 November, 2022, police were called to the A82 at Ballachulish, following a report of a lorry shedding its load. Recovery will be arranged.”
The road was clear by about 10am.
