Eight schools in the Highlands closed due to heavy snowfall

Last nights heavy snowfall has resulted in a number of school closures across the Highlands.

Cannich Bridge Primary and Nursery, Drummond School and Nursery, Stratherrick Primary and Foyers Primary have all been closed due to the bad weather.

And St Clement’s School and its nursery have been shut for the day due to severe road conditions.

As a result of the closures, a total of 85 pupils at primary schools and 14 children in nurseries have the day off.
