Missing 16-year-old Isle of Lewis woman found safe and well

A 16-year-old girl who went missing from her home on the Isle of Lewis has been found safe and well.

Trhas Tekele was last seen at her home address on Lewis on Saturday, November 26 at around 11am.

Police appealed for information to help trace the 16-year-old, with it being believed that she travelled from Stornoway to Ullapool on the mainland.

A police spokesman said: Police Scotland can confirm that Trhas Tekele, reported missing from the Isle of Lewis area yesterday, has been traced safe and well. Thanks to all who assisted.”
