Three community projects in the Highlands have received awards from the Big Lottery Fund.
Kyle of Sutherland Youth Development Group received on of the biggest grants of £1.4m towards a new community and family centre at an existing youth project, The Bus.
Around 3,000 local residents will benefit from a fitness centre, healthy eating cafe and juice bar, charity shop and soft play area.
There will also be youth rooms allowing the group to expand their programme of activities.
The Hjaltland Housing Association in Shetland received £375,793 which will go towards supported accommodation for teenagers making the transition between care and independent living.
The Bridge Community Centre in the Western Isles received £146,740 towards a mentoring project for children aged eight to 18 on Lewis.
