Two men were injured after an accident near Nigg

Two men have been taken to hospital after an early morning accident in Easter Ross.

They were injured in a collision between a car and a van on an unclassified road near Nigg.

The accident happened at around 6.50am.

Both men were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by ambulance following the accident.

They were described as “walking wounded” by a police spokesman.
