It is understood that a motorcyclist in involved in the accident, which happened near Taynuilt. Emergency services remain on scene. The road is closed in both directions and it is understood that it will remain so for several hours. Bear Scotland is advising motorists to use an alternative route. Westbound traffic from Tyndrum should use the A83 to Lochgilphead and then join the A816 to Oban, where they will be able to reach the A85.
