Kyle Lifeboat was called out to rescue a woman who had broken her leg in Plockton.
The casualty fell at Coral Beach on Friday night and could only be evacuated by boat because of the remote location.
The lifeboat crew was called out by Stornoway Coastguard just after 10pm.
The crew stabilised the woman and put her onto a stretcher before taking her to Kyle, where an ambulance was waiting to take her to hospital.
A Kyle Lifeboat spokesman said: “The beach where the casualty was located was remote and she was in a lot of pain, however, all of the emergency services worked together to get her onto the lifeboat as quickly and safely as possible.”
