Police believe the thieves entered the centre on Shore Road in Tain on two separate occasions earlier this month. It is believed that the centre was broken into at some point between Saturday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 5 when a number of batteries were taken. A follow-up raid is believed to have happened between Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7. Just under 40 car batteries in total have been removed from the yard in the two.
