An Outlander Day in the Highlands has been hailed as a major success by its organisers.
Held at the Highland Folk Museum people were transported back in time while visiting the township, which was one of the filming locations for the top TV programme.
And people were invited to take a selfie with Jamie and Claire Fraser, albeit the heroic time travellers were mere cardboard cutouts.
In 2014 the 1700s Highland township was used as a filming location for the hugely successful series.
Outlander is based on the popular books by Diana Gabaldon.
The series has a cult following and many fans have been visiting the Highland Folk Museum as part of a Scottish tour taking in the sights and locations from the show.
From 2015 onwards the Highland Folk Museum has held an Outlander Day where lots of traditional skills are on display, including spinning & weaving, waulking the cloth and cooking.
