A northern road remains closed following a dramatic car fireball incident this morning.
One of the two men in an Audi S5 was rushed to hospital after the vehicle went up in flames on Back Road, near Evanton, outside of Dingwall this morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 6.45am this morning, police sealed off the road at the time and it remains closed now as officers carry out an investigation.
The car was completely destroyed by the blaze but the extent of the man’s injuries are not clear.
