A woman has suffered “non life-threatening” injuries after her overturned on a Highland road.
The vehicle ended up on its roof in the accident, which happened on the A835 at Contin, at the junction with the A834 Strathpeffer road at around 7.20am.
The female driver was not trapped, although a fire appliance from Dingwall went to the scene and assisted paramedics in removing her from the car.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said she had been taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment, adding that her injuries are not though to be life-threatening.
The road was partially blocked but traffic was able to pass the scene of the accident.
It was fully reopened after the car was recovered before 10am.
