Firefighters tackled a fire on farmland near Alness
Police are appealing for information after a caravan was destroyed by fire.
The incident in Invergordon’s Caberfeidh Drive happened at around 12.35am this morning.
Two appliances from the town attended the scene and quickly dealt with the blaze.
The twin berth caravan was unoccupied and no one was injured.
However vehicle was destroyed.
A police spokesman said that the fire is being treated as unexplained and asked anyone with information to contact officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
