Two events in Highlands have raised thousands of pounds for the Nepal disaster fund.
In Ullapool, a lunch and auction organised by the Red Cross raised £2,990.
A further £470 was raised during a collection at the village’s Tesco and at Ullapool Book Festival.
The fundraising group has decided to donate £2,760 to the Red Cross Nepal Appeal, which will allow the Red Cross staff and volunteers to continue their vital work helping people in crisis in Nepal.
The remaining £700 to Red Cross Week funds to help support the Red Cross’ services in the North of Scotland.
And a coffee morning at the Waterfall Cafe at Foyers raised a total of £615 for the disaster appeal.
