Eric Cyl, 62, was last seen setting off on yesterday morning. Officers in Lochaber are now searching the area known as Ring of Steall, in the Mamore mountain range near Fort William. A coastguard helicopter, as well as both Lochaber and Glencoe mountain rescue teams and search and rescue dogs, have all been involved in the search. The search was launched this morning and is planned to continue tomorrow. Mr Cyl was last seen wearing a light grey jacket and dark trousers. He was walking alone and aided by two walking poles. Anyone who saw Mr Cyl or who has information which could help police is urged to contact 101.
