Coastguard teams aiding stricken vessel in Highland loch

Coastguards teams have been called to the aid of a boat hit by windy weather whilst sailing in a Highland loch.
The Kyle of Lochalsh lifeboat was called to assist the 54ft sailing ketch, the Silurian, in Loch Duich at around 3.30pm.
Three people are said to be aboard the vessel – which has been hit by foul weather.
A Stornoway Coastguard spokesman said there was a “wind speed of 35 knots” in the area at the moment.
He added: “We have just now sent the Kyle lifeboat to assist at vessel called the Silurian in Loch Duich. There is fairly windy weather conditions so they asked us for assistance.
“The one came through at 3.25pm, there is three persons on board.”
