A woman has escaped serious injury after her car crashed down an embankment near Dingwall.
The accident happened on Back Road between Dingwall and Evanton at around 2.20pm.
The only occupant of the car was the female driver, who was able to escape from the car herself.
A police spokesman said she was “not thought to have suffered any serious injuries”.
She was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.
A fire appliance from Dingwall also attended but was not required to do anything at the scene.
A spokeswoman for the fire and rescue service added: “Another appliance from Beauly and the heavy rescue unit from Inverness en-route but were stood down before arrival.”
