Emergency services were called to A830 near Arisaig shortly after 3.30am after the motorist left the road and drove through a fence. The vehicle landed in an embankment. Police confirmed that local diversions are still in place via the B8008 at Traigh. Two fire crews also attended the scene – one from Mallaig and the other from Fort William to assist police and paramedics. A spokesman for the service confirmed the motorist had “serious injuries”.
