The accident happened south of the Tore roundabout just before 7.50am, partially blocking the southbound lane of the Inverness-Thurso road. A police spokesman said that an ambulance had been sent to the scene but the driver escaped injury. The damaged vehicle was recovered shortly afterwards and the road was fully reopened by 8.38am.
