Police are appealing for help in tracing a woman who is missing in the Outer Hebrides.
Marion Donald was last seen at around 2pm today in the Lochportain Road area of North Uist, driving her Citroen Berlingo van.
However, the 51-year-old has not returned to her South Uist home and has yet to make contact with anyone.
Officers believe she may have travelled towards the Renfrewshire area, where she has family, and would urge anyone who knows her current whereabouts to come forward.
She is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall with a medium build, medium-length brown hair with a fringe and glasses. She was wearing a grey hooded top, black trousers and black plimsoles.
Constable Donnie Smith said: “We want to locate Marion as soon as possible to ensure she is alright and would ask that anyone who can help us locate her contacts police immediately.
“I would also request that Marion get in touch with a family member, friend, or with police as soon as possible and let us know where she is and that she’s safe.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
