Image: Dave Donaldson. Police have arrested and charged a 39-year-old man in connection with the death of a 24-year-old woman in Shetland. The woman died on Sunday, February 11. Officers were called to the Sandness area about a disturbance around 4.55pm on Sunday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. He is due to appear before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday, February 15. Police say a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
