The pair, a boy and girl, called emergency services after becoming stranded, around 30ft above sea level, in Rosemarkie. Aberdeen Coastguard were alerted at around 7.45pm and dispatched local coastguard teams and the Invergordon Lifeboat. One of the pair was subsequently taken to safety by Inverness Coastguard’s search and rescue helicopter and another was rescued by the lifeboat. Neither required medical treatment.
