A man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a farm vehicle on a single track road in Caithness.
The accident, which involved just one vehicle, happened on the B874 Bower-Gillock road shortly before 10.50am this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver was taken by road ambulance to Caithness General Hospital in Wick.
A fire service spokesman said that a heavy rescue unit was also sent from Inverness along with three appliances, two from Wick and one from John O’Groats.
The details of the accident are unclear at this stage but the road remains closed between Bower and Gillock and diversions are in place via Faulds and Brabster Moss.
