Revellers at a Highland music festival are being warned that the ongoing heavy rain is expected to continue for till this evening.
The torrential downpour is making car movement difficult at the one-day Aviemore Stopover, in the Rothiemurchus area of the town.
Officers are advising festival-goers to park away from the site and travel on foot.
Meanwhile, police are also reminding people to not be caught out by the drink drive limit if they are planning to drive home tomorrow.
Inspector Ewan Henderson, from the police’s safer communities unit, said: “Police Scotland will be offering a drink driving breath test facility on site at the Stopover Festival, supported by our Police Youth Volunteer Scheme. This will be located at the camp site exit and will be operating from 8:30am onwards on Sunday.
“Revellers are encouraged to take up this service, so that they may drive within the legal limits and have a safe drive home.”
Taxis and buses will be running from the festival site, details of which can be found on the Stopover website.
