Fire fighters were called to the flat at Torry

A north road has been closed after a car caught fire following an accident.

The accident happened near the Kilmorack Gallery on the A831 Beauly to Cannich road at 11.39am.

Two people were in the car which was involved in an accident before catching fire.

Both are uninjured and have been described as “walking wounded” by a police spokesman.

Fire crews from Dingwall and Beauly are currently at the scene, as is an ambulance.

The road has been closed for the car to be recovered and the area cleared.
